Bhagawan explains the word "Joy" as follows:
J stands for Jesus, that is God,
O stands for others,
Y stands for yourself.
This is how our priority should be: first God, then others, and lastly ourselves, the ego. What are we doing? Our priority is the other way! Know that when the ego arises, the world will also arise. Then comes around the notion of God. Only as long as the ego is there can concepts of others, of a second and a third person, be there. We should seek that which is there before the ego arises.
What is the basis for this world, its support? One will find the divinity is always there. The ego comes and goes. You as ego can never find God. You can only come back to God. Find out how! Find out if you ever left Him! With the mind you start inquiry. When the inquiry ends, there will be no mind.
