Sai Wit and Wisdom - Glasses to Rome

The famous journalist and "Sanathana Sarathi" Editor, Sri V.K. Narasimhan was deputed to the International Symposium on the theme "Unity is Divinity in Rome on October 30 and 31 in 1983 and to read Swami's message and address the Conference.  But Narasimhan could not read without spectacles which he had forgotten and kept them at Brindavan.

When Dr. Sara Pavan came to discuss with him about the Australian Sathya Sai Annual, Narasimhan lamented about his spectacles.  All of a sudden, they heard the sound of something dropping on the cushion between them.  In great surprise, a happy Narasimhan exclaimed that they were his own reading  glasses and that Swami was present there.  He was overwhelmed at the miraculous appearance of his reading glasses

When Narasimhan returned to Prasanthi Nilayam from Rome, the first question Swami asked him was about what happened to the glasses.  Narasimhan told Swami that he felt as if someone had brought the glasses to him.  Swami remarked, "I brought the glasses!" (from Brindavan, Bangalore  to Rome).

This proved beyond doubt that the Omniscient Omnipresent Sai comes to the rescue of His devotees in distress.
