Little Acts of Love

If I have learned one thing over the years it is that every little act of love is important. Every loving act is significant no matter how small it is. The tiniest act of love can change a human life and even the world for the better. The simplest act of love can do the work of God. I have received so many letters from people saying that the simple words I write have uplifted them and made their lives better. 

I know it is true too, because their letters have done the same for me. I have seen a simple hug, a friendly wave, or a happy smile change a person’s entire day for the better. I have seen how spending five minutes picking up trash can transform a garbage dump into a beautiful park once again. I have seen how donating just a few dollars to charities can help to save another person’s life. I have seen how planting a tiny seed can bless the world with food, shade, oxygen, and beautiful Autumn leaves. I have seen how sharing a kind word and a gentle touch can raise an another human soul from despair to joy. I have seen how just sitting and listening to another person can give them the love and attention that their lonely spirit is crying out for.

Don’t ever think that your love is worthless or insignificant. We are all God’s Children. We are all powerful Beings of Light. God loves us and wants us to choose and share love as well.

Our love is vital to this world. Our love is crucial to each other’s growth and survival. If we are ever going to create the paradise this world was meant to be it is going to be through our little, everyday acts of love. Fill your days then with these little acts of love. Make them a part of who you are. It is these little acts of love that will bring happiness to your heart and joy to the entire world.
