A few foreign students had come to India on holiday. They had visited many places in India and had now come to Puttaparthi as per their schedule. One among them took a dislike to both Puttaparthi and Swami. With great reluctance he went for darshan along with the others. When Swami came near them, he said, "I don't like you." The omnipotent Lord smiled silently at him and passed by.
The next day, the boy was talking to his friends under a tree, when Swami passed by in His car. He stopped on seeing them and went near. Again the same boy said, "I don't like you." After speaking to others in the group, Swami materialized a dollar and gave it to the boy. Swami was observing the boy when he looked at the dollar. There was a picture of a defective heart, his own heart. This was something known only to his parents and his doctor. Still he was not ready to believe in Swami but Swami was not finished with him.
With a voice full of love, Swami said, "Your mother was on her death bed due to a sudden illness. Don't be afraid. I went to Japan and saved your mother." The boy was still not convinced. He shouted, "You are telling me lies! My mother was hale and hearty when I left. There was no chance for her to have become sick. This is nothing but a blatant lie to deceive me." The compassionate Swami left the place unaffected by the boy's anger.

The next morning the boy was asked to go to the office and collect a cablegram which had come from Japan. It was from his mother and it said, "As per your tour itinerary, you should be in a place called Puttaparthi on this date. I felt very sick soon after your departure. Doctors said that it would be extremely difficult to survive. I felt the taste of death. Yesterday a monk with bushy hair and orange robe came and stood near the bed. He said, "I have come from India to save you from death." Then he created some white powder by waving His hand and rubbed it on my forehead as well as putting some in my mouth. He vanished before I could talk to Him. I am completely cured and saved from death in just one day. I have an urgent wish to see Him. You should come back with all details about Him."
His friends were astounded to learn this and became devoted to Swami and carried all details about Swami to take back with them. The blessed boy's happiness knew no bounds during the next day's interview.
