A devotee named Bhimaiah from the neighbouring village had a fight with his brother about sharing the produce of their land crops. Unable to succeed, he came to Parthi hoping to remain there itself, on the charity of the pilgrims. Baba chastised him for being a burden on others. He advised Bhimaiah that with a little more patience and love, he could be happy with his brother in his own village. Baba assured him that His grace will be on him, wherever he was and sent him back to his own village.
Bhimaiah took Baba's advice very sadly as if He had driven him out and so, he lay down across the railway line on a dark night with the hope that a passing train would end his misery.
Baba's love hurried Him on a trans-corporeal journey to the railway line and pushed Bhimaiah aside, just in time. Devotees around Baba at that moment in Puttaparthi could see Him pushing something heavy for His gestures were of that type! And Baba came to, with an exclamation against Bhimaiah who had so foolishly misinterpreted His advice!
Tearful with repentance and sorrow, Bhimaiah returned to Puttaparthi immediately before joining his brother. He explained to Sri Kasturi that Baba held his hand and dragged him down the slope of the bund on which he had laid himself.
