It was in 1980 when Swami returned to Prashanti mandir, He saw three persons sitting in the portico of the mandir. Swami called these three in for an interview and was about to close the door when Kasturi was at the door. Swami smilingly said, "See Kasturi, there are already three "murtis" inside" and pointing His finger at Himself added, "This is also a "murti" and there is no place inside for Kasturi."
Kasturi, known for his humourous repartees, replied: "Swami, if I also come inside, it will become "purti" (complete)!" Swami had a hearty laugh and let Kasturi inside.
