Anil Kumar had sent the window curtains in the auditorium to the laundry and when they came back, they were put on the windows. But one curtain was missing. Swami was expected to arrive a few minutes later. Anil Kumar was wondering whether Swami would notice the missing curtain. Anil Kumar got the curtain of the opposite window also removed so that there was symmetry and he also thought that the missing curtain would escape Swami's attention.
As soon as Swami entered the auditorium that evening, He noticed the window where the curtain was missing and asked, "Anil Kumar, what happened to the curtain?" Before Anil Kumar could answer, He looked at the window on the opposite side and said, "Since one curtain was missing, Anil Kumar removed the curtain on the other side also in order to avoid the absence of the curtain being noticed!" He then turned towards Anil Kumar, smiled and said, "Do not do such things, get new curtains stitched for both the windows!"
