Baba once narrated an interesting story to illustrate how hard it is to utter the name of God at the time of death, unless one practised it for several years.
Once there was a prosperous shopkeeper, who decided to die with the names of God on his lips. For this, he thought of a good idea. He gave the different names of God to his six sons. He knew he would certainly call all of them or at least one of them at the time he breathed his last.
He was immersed in commerce throughout his life. When the fateful moment came, he called his sons' names one by one. First two of them came, then two others, immediately after them the fifth one and so had called the names of God five times. When he finally called for the sixth son, he had in this way mentioned the name of God six times in all!
All the sons stood around him, when suddenly the man looked up and as he was about to die, he gasped: "I say, I see all of you have come away neglecting the shop! Who will look after the business?" Suddenly, he stopped breathing and thus he could only think of his commerce at the last moment and he died without the name of God on his lips!
