"There was a big tree that was very beautiful and attractive with many branches, leaves, fruits and flowers. One day, it suddenly withered and all the leaves and flowers dried and dropped down. What was the reason? Was it because the tree was not watered sufficiently? Or was it because of lack of fertiliser? No, no, nothing of that sort. It was infested with a pest in its roots and the disease spread to all parts of the tree. As a result, this entire tree withered away suddenly. Similarly, when the diseases of kama (desire) and krodha (anger) affect us, we crumble suddenly one day, despite our rolling wealth."
