Out of action arises the bondage of Delusion;
From Delusion grows a perverted mind;
Mental perversion leads to perverse deeds;
Such deeds again result in rebirth.
The jeevi is born in karma,
He grows through karma,
He ceases in karma.
Karma is the cause
Of happiness and misery.
