If likes and aversions are regulated,
Then it will be a harmonious scheme.
Heaven and Earth are our great parents.
If the people are not made hateful or full of grief,
If all things in creation are neither hindered nor harmed,
Then all phenomena will be at peace.
The human heart has the ability to tell good from bad and joy from sorrow. It is obvious what is good and what is bad and one should act accordingly. Only in this way can one nourish one's character.
