Help Ever, Hurt Never
This is Baba's standard exhortation. We should always help and never hurt anybody. Help connotes many things. Help does not mean a material thing - a good word, encouragement and words of solace or comfort - all these are of help. Help does not necessarily mean financial or material.
We should not be disappointed that Swami did not look at us. A look that is lost now is a guarantee of many looks later. So let us not be worried about the present moment. Once, suddenly Swami asked some boys about the welfare of their families and assured them that everything would be alright and not to worry. He also promised to send prasad.
Then Swami turned to this author and said, "Look here, many of the boys think that I don't talk to them or that I don't know them. Many feel that I have neglected them. Many are frustrated. Remember, I know everyone of you as well as your family - your brothers, your sisters, your parents - every detail I know." Then He smiled.
But then this is Bhagawan who externally and outwardly makes us think that we are neglected and that He does not speak to us or look at us. But it is a fallacy to think like that. We should understand that He is the Cosmic Divine where our future, present and past are all downloaded on the Divine "computer".
