"Hold My Hand ..."

 

"Hold my hand and walk with me, my friend ..."

When I joined the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School in June 1998, it was my habit to make one particular prayer in all the letters I wrote.

"Swami, please hold my hand and never let go of it ..."

Whatever be the theme or other contents of the letter, this sentence would surely be there.  The practice was stopped when Swami came to me in my dream and said that I was expressing  wrongly in my letters.  He said, "Swami will never leave your hand.  You ensure that you don't leave Swami's hand."

From that day, I would write in my letter, "Swami, please ensure that I never leave your hand."
