A classmate of the author, by the name Syam Sunder is a military doctor in Medak (Andhra Pradesh). He had been to Mumbai and Pune during which period some enemies threatened him and stabbed him. He was admitted in a critical condition to a hospital in Pune. The surgeons who operated saw no hope of survival and informed his wife accordingly, who started crying.
What transpired at that time outside the operation theatre was that the wife saw Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in physical form walking along the corridor. He opened the door of the theatre and went in. After one hour, Bhagawan came out. The lady was waiting all along outside because she was not permitted to go in.
After a couple of hours, the doctors came and examined the patient again. They informed the wife that her husband was out of danger. They said that there was a cut on one side but could not understand how another cut came about.
The author's doctor friend, Shyam Sunder, lifted his shirt and said, "This is the original cut made by the surgeons; this is the second cut made by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Supreme Surgeon. As a result, you find me here this morning talking to you."
The recipients of His Divine grace best know that Swami saves lives. It is not to be questioned. We know that Swami is in us, which He constantly reiterates. But we don't have that awareness always. Having this awareness throughout is called Constant Integrated Awareness. The entire day, this author could not speak to anybody because of the interaction with his doctor friend, Shyam Sunder. That is Bhagawan's glory - we should let Baba prevail over our thoughts.
