Once on the way to Kodaikanal, Swami suddenly stopped the car. Everybody thought something was wrong with the driver or the car. But the actual reason was that Swami wanted to talk to a beggar sitting by the roadside. He gave some money and a blanket and resumed the journey.
We have no business to assess or estimate. We should not evaluate because God is beyond the mind. One who does not judge is truly spiritual whereas the one who judges is non-spiritual, irreligious and immoral.
Once in the Poornachandra auditorium, Swami was speaking and there was repeated clapping and applause. This author felt it quite disturbing and said so to his friend. But suddenly after ten minutes, when Swami made a wonderful statement, the author himself was the first to start clapping. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." It it easy to judge the other person. But later, when you aware in his shoes as in this author's case, you may be much worse than the person who pointed out.
Therefore, Bhagawan says, "Seek out your own faults and the faults of others, so that you never think of anything that is negative in others. Judgement is one of the weaknesses of the mind."
(From the book "Sai-chology" by Prof. K. Anil Kumar)
