"There is a needle, thread and flowers. We need to make a garland with thread. Somebody should make the garland. Baba is a florist. He collects the flowers of philosophy. He uses the thread of divinity and the needle of teaching to make a garland of Sanathana Dharma ever new and fresh.
Here is gold. Will it make a ring of its own accord? No! There must be a goldsmith to make a jewel. Baba is the goldsmith. Gold is the Sanathana Dharma.
The ornaments and precious jewels are His divine discourses.
Here is a lamp, oil and wick. Will you get light? There should be someone to light it. Bhagawan lights the lamp in our hearts, the light of wisdom, the light of bliss. Therefore, Avatar means the one who makes Truth possible, enjoyable and meaningful.
There are books but there has to be a Teacher. Baba is the world Teacher, teaching you the alphabets of spirituality so that you can begin to read the text of the spirit."
