The world is full of anger and hatred
craving for lust, power and money;
It is on the brink of destruction.
O! My Lord, the Love incarnate
Show us the direction, dispel darkness,
destroy the evil, sow the seeds of love.
In this faltering, fleeting transitory world
Lead Kindly Light!
Make every act of mine sublime;
Make me, My Lord, an instrument of peace
in Thy hands.
