A lady was brought to Prashanthi Nilayam in an ambulance from the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital. She was very ill with cancer that had spread all over her body and she could hardly breathe. The doctors thought she would die at any time and asked her, "What is your last wish?" She immediately replied, "I wish to have Swami's darshan, please!" She was immediately brought through the main gate and the stretcher was placed at the entrance. The volunteers decided to take her back to the hospital as soon as Baba had given His Divine darshan to all devotees.
Beloved Baba's gaze rested on this lady for only a couple of minutes and through His 'cosmic rays', she was cured! Nearly fifty thousand devotees witnessed this miracle as she got up from the stretcher and was absolutely normal. Many devotees had tears of joy in their eyes. This proved that Beloved Swami's darshan could heal a devotee.
