Sr N. Kasturi delightfully describes Baba's play thus:
"The human child delights to pour sand through its fingers. This child (Sai Baba), I saw, grasped a handful of Chitravathi sand, it became a book, the "Bhagavad Gita", sand coagulated into beads when Baba jogged gleefully on the white beach at Cape Camerin where three seas lap on the shore. The Divine child sat on the sea shore near Dwaraka and played with the hands on the sand and an eighteen inch golden idol of Krishna emerged! This child inspires us to become children again, so that we may be ever with Him."
