He Who Waits ...

A devotee visiting Prasanthi Nilayam for the first time, longed passionately for an interview.  Twice daily, he sat hopefully in the darshan lines, but Swami ignored him.  However, after three weeks, Swami did call him in for an interview.  

In spite of his great joy, the devotee could not restrain himself from saying to Baba: "Swami, I've been waiting three weeks to see you!"  "And I," said Baba gently, "have been waiting 3,000 years for you."
