Q10: Swami! What are the criteria to recognise a Divine incarnation? (Question shot at the Incarnation Himself!)
A: Three qualities - creation, sustenance and annihilation are the attributes of a divine incarnation, well known to several spiritual personalities. In addition, two more qualities, being loved by all and loving all - are also the signature tunes of Divinity. Being respected is not the same as being loved or adored. You may admire or respect a Prime Minister but you may not love or adore him. You love your mother but not worship her. You love your friend but do not worship him. Thus loving is different from worshipping. Merging or attracting both love and veneration is the speciality of the Incarnation.
