Dear Lord,
I sat at Your Lotus Feet,
blissful and content.
Then You smiled at me and slowly vanished.
I searched for You everywhere
but I could not find you.
Tears filled my eyes, then I woke up.
It was only a dream.
I saw that same gentle smile in
your picture above my bed.
I saw the words You had
written on it
Why fear when I am here
and I knew I had not lost you.
It was only a dream.
