When I was left behind by world unkind,
A true friend nowhere to find,
But You arrived before I could call,
and assured me that You are my True Pal.
When everything was fine and good,
With plenty of money and food,
I spent my time rejoicing in it,
Not realizing that everything was Your own gift.
Dearest Swami in orange gown,
You were always there, when I was pushed down,
But I often failed to see Your lovely hand,
In those times of need, which made me stand.
I fall short in measuring Your grace,
For the boons You showered on human race,
So let me offer my deep sense of gratitude,
By presenting myself in servitude.
