Engaging oneself in arduous penance,
Undertaking pilgrimages to sacred shrines,
Dipping in holy waters, mastering the scriptures,
Meditating on the Lord, and going in raptures,
All these can seldom help a human
To cross the ocean of life mundane.
Service to mankind is the only course of action
Which will help one to achieve liberation.
