Dear Lord,
In these difficult times,
You have been my closest friend.
You have listened so patiently to my worries and fears
And wiped away my tears.
If only we on this troubled earth had mended our ways
And treated everyone right,
Then today we would not be in such a plight.
So dear Lord, please forgive us and set us free
With your healing rays of love and light,
So forever we shall be at Your lotus feet,
Never to fear, never to weep.
