Shradda is not just faith, it is to love something that is beyond the purview of knowing. And if one is willing to look beyond what is already known, then the vast wealth of knowledge embraces them.
Knowledge has the power to push you through any tough situation. Without this wisdom, even in the best of situations, you will grumble and be discontent. The switch is within you.
The right way of asking is, first, having that confidence in the divine and knowing that "I have this request and it will be granted to me." One should apply effort, work and also relax.
